Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy or ESWT is a non-invasive, evidence-based treatment designed to relieve chronic foot and ankle pain and stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Using targeted acoustic sound waves, this therapy increases blood flow, promotes tissue regeneration, and helps break down scar tissue that can delay healing.

It is commonly used to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, heel pain, and other chronic soft-tissue injuries that have not responded well to traditional treatments.

Shockwave Therapy is performed in-office, requires no injections or surgery, and typically involves minimal downtime. Most patients experience gradual pain relief and improved function over a series of short treatment sessions.

Our podiatrists use Shockwave Therapy to help patients return to walking, working, and staying active—comfortably and confidently.
